How long does the session last?

Our session is usually 55-60 min long. Occasionally we may offer a 90 or 120 minute session depending on circumstances.

Please give us a call to discuss further.

What should I bring for my first visit?

With Myofascial Release treatment we want to treat the whole body and assess the posture and alignment of your structure.
So ideally, we would like to see you in sports bra, shorts or tank top to fully evaluate your body and its structure.
Myofascial release is performed directly on the skin. We will provide blankets, pillow for your comfort.

How many sessions I may need?

Healing is a very individual process, and it is hard to give a specific number of visits without seeing you first. Most people feel that they are moving towards their goals and intentions for feeling better by the sixth visit or even earlier.

Initially we may recommend more frequent visits, and later, as you are feeling better, your visits may be more spread out.

What kind of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, credit. HSA and Flex Spending are accepted as well.

What happens if you are late for your session?

We specifically set up the appointment for you. If you are running late, your session would be shortened as we usually have another person that is scheduled after your visit and your financial responsibility would be for the whole session.

We are usually understanding and if you give us a call and if there is an option to move things around to help you, we will do our best.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment is specifically schedule for you for 60 min. We appreciate that all patients and clients extend a courteous 24-hour minimum cancellation notice to change or cancel any appointment, one business day. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee may apply in a discretionary fashion.

If your appointment is set up for 90 or 120 minutes we appreciate and request 48 hours notice. Please understand that if you don’t show up, or cancel without ample time, there is someone else suffering in pain who could have taken that appointment if they had enough notice to arrange their schedule!

We very much greatly appreciate the understanding of this matter.

Do I need a script for Physical Therapy/ Direct Access to Physical Therapy?

In the state of Illinois patients are able to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist without requiring a script from another medical provider.

Can I be a Direct Access Patient?

All self-pay patients are able to schedule an initial appointment. If you are wishing to use your insurance, you may want to call your insurance company for details, however most insurances do not require a script. Note Medicare still requires a script for physical therapy services.
