  • THE POWER OF THE BREATH


    With deep and slow diaphragmatic breathing we choose to re-engage with ourselves.

    We are learning, and teaching the brain and the body how to be a unit again, and we stimulate the VAGUS nerve which produces neuro-physiological reactions for relaxation and healing.

    Diaphragmatic breathing reduces our anxiety, fear, racing thoughts, rapid heart rate, and relaxes the tension in the body, thus decreasing pain and inflammation. Be aware and present while deeply breathing in and out.

  • THE DANCE OF JOY


    Last month I wrote about 7 STEPS to Unconditional Self-Love for a Better and Healthier Quality of Life . I received a lot of positive feedback on the topic of self-love and felt it merited additional discussion. My journey into healing, introspection and self-love started when I was in my early twenties, at a time when the whole concept of how our mind and body are connected started to fascinate me, and became my whole new paradigm of thinking, feeling and being.

  • WINTER AWARENESS


    With winter being here in Chicago, cold temperatures, snow and icy conditions, it may be a worthy idea to practice winter awareness for maximum enjoyment along with fall and injury prevention.

    Winter, cold and snow are neither good nor bad. It is part of our four seasons and the rest depends on our perspective, interpretation, awareness and attitude. We don’t need to dread winter. We can adjust ourselves to it and find value and enjoyment in cold conditions.

  • SWITCH ON YOUR BODY’S HEALING ABILITIES


    The year 2020 presented to us many reasons to feel, in both our body and mind, high levels of stress, anxiety, depression and uncertainty. Those states have a direct effect on our physiology, producing stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline leading to inflammation, pain and chronic disease.

  • SLEEP BETTER FEEL BETTER

    About 1 in 3 people have at least mild insomnia. Many poor sleepers have developed poor sleep habits. In the long run, taking sleeping pills isn’t effective. To improve sleeping habits and make lasting changes, we need to address the chemistry of the body, mental-emotional aspects, and the environment where we sleep.

  • SEVEN ESSENTIAL CHOICES


    It has been my joyful pleasure to teach and facilitate my patients/clients in their self-healing process, and empower them.

    The last year and a half has been an additional opportunity for me to expand my own knowledge, passion and learn new things to serve you even on a higher level.

    I am happily celebrating the fact that I became an Energy Codes Certified Facilitator with Dr. Sue Morter Institute, and that I will complete the Energy Codes Certified Coaching Program early in 2022.

    If I can remember, I was fascinated with living healthy life-style, cultivating overall balance and thought that preventing any sort of medical problem is way smarter than fixing the existing one. Health and Wellness seem way better to pay attention to vs treating already existing illness or the disease.

And all our questions were eloquently answered like why we are here? What does it all mean? What happens when we die? Why do we get sick? How can we be happy and create the life that we truly want?

  • SELF CAREย AS A NECESSITY


    In today’s changing, confusing, and chaotic times, observing the world as we knew it before, shifting into a new reality, self care is a crucial act of respect for our own body, mind and soul.

    Many of us live the life of service, care and help towards others. We all would like to serve and help others from a place of joy and love, and not out of obligation, duty or as a result of other’s expectations of us. As a golden rule of our practice, giving, service and care for others from the place of overflow of our own cup is what brings the best fulfillment to ourselves and others.

  • OUR POTENTIAL FOR SELF-AWARENESS


    “We can evolve and be more mindful, teaching our brains new neural responses and realizing the potential of our higher being”

    Unlike most species in the Animal Kingdom, human beings have the potential for self-awareness. This is so easily forgotten about in the heat of the moment, when anger, for instance, might emotionally override the fact that we as humans have self-awareness as a choice.

  • MY PERSONAL MYOFASCIAL RELEASE JOURNEY


    Many times, people ask me how I started practicing Myofascial Release. As I was recently reminiscing on the 11th anniversary of Wholistic Therapeutics, I was overtaken by appreciation of my own personal and professional journey with Myofascial Release.

    At the end of my 20ties, I was working as a Physical Therapist at a local hospital, struggling with a chronic right hip pain that would radiate all the way down to my leg with occasional numbness and tingling. Through my adult life, I was always very active, living a full, athletic and travelling lifestyle, which I greatly enjoyed.

    In September, I participated in a week long Meditation Retreat by Dr. Joe Dispenza, which was held in a beautiful area around Niagara Falls. There were 1600 participants, with this particular event sold out within an hour of opening its registration process.
