  • 10 Steps to Self-Love as Medicine


    Your thoughts and feelings can actually stimulate intense physiological activity. By physiological activity, I mean the functions and processes of your body, its parts, organs, and systems. This is the key point of the body-mind connection.

    This has been established scientifically time and time again. Proven scientific devices have recorded the energy generated by the brain. It has also been established scientifically that the body is surrounded by energy.

    This leads us to the second key point:

    There is a connection between your thoughts, feelings and health.

    This is HUGE and most likely your doctor will not tell you about it!ย 

    Many of us grew up in a culture and families where a healthy relationship with one-self was not cultivated and many times diminished, not even taken into consideration or even ridiculed. We all have a tendency to think that we have relationships with others. In reality, the most important relationship we will ever have in our life is the relationship with ourselves.

    Everything in our life, from health, success, and self-esteem, to how other people treat and trust us, starts with what kind of relationship we have with ourselves and our connection to something bigger than us.ย 
    We do live in a Universe that is fully loving and supportive of us (God, Divine Spirit, Loving Intelligence, Unified Field).ย 
    How do we take care of ourself?

    On a physical level it means to take good care of one’s body and provide it with nutritious food, an adequate quantity of sleep, a proper exercise program, hydration etc.

    On an emotional and spiritual/ energetic level unconditional self-love, self-compassion and acceptance are very crucial ingredients opening and perceiving ( BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS HERE) the Divine flow which creates a better and healthier quality of life.
    How can we get there?

    1.ย Connect with your Inner Self every day.ย Self-love is the essence of who we are.ย Take few minutes to be quiet, breath, meditate, contemplate, pray, and pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. Focus on you breathe and connect your mind with it.ย Feel the aliveness in and around your body.ย Like when we want to be a good friend to someone else and hear them…do the same with yourself.ย Give yourself a priority every single day.
    2.ย Be totally honest, gentle and embracing with yourself.ย Many of our fears, anxieties, low self-esteem or lack of acceptance are the byproduct of our feelings, outdated beliefs or patterns of thoughts from the past. The most important is not to judge them or ourselves.ย Many of those unpleasant emotions or feelings want to be embraced, accepted and gently released. During many MFR sessions we feel and have memories because we are connected to ourselves.
    3.ย You can only receive what you believe you are worthy of.ย The Universe is giving you exactly what you believe you can receive. Open your heart wide and receive all the gifts, healings and miracles that are waiting for you when you feel worthy of receiving them.ย 
    4.ย Love just is.ย The Divine Love is the essence of who we are. We do not need to look for it, find it, earn it, work for it, manifest it or receive it. You are Love, you are made of pure love and that realization of that Universal truth will change your whole life forever.ย 
    5.ย Self-Clarityย is the realization that we are, at our core, the pure love energy living in the body. Realize that old wounds or childhood experiences are not the reflection of who you are. Our mind usually makes a story about what happened and creates false beliefs like โ€œI am not good enoughโ€, โ€œI am not lovedโ€. These mental beliefs became our boxes that holds us back from healing and reaching our full potential.ย 
    6.ย Self-Compassion.ย Many times it is easier for us to love others vs our own self and it is because of self judgement and comparison to others. We forget to notice our own beauty, love and uniqueness.ย 
    7.ย Accept yourself where you are right now.ย I believe that the healthy way of living is to be authentic with yourself and others. It is great to be in a present moment and enjoy it. It is wise to be aware of past conditioning, old wounds, and memories so we can fully live in the present moment. It will not happen over-night, change takes time, so be gentle with yourself.
    8.ย Surround yourself with people who support and honor you.ย Not everyone in your life will be supportive and reflect back to you the love and honor that you have for yourself. Not all the family members and friends will give you back the appreciation and respect that you deserve.
    9.ย Give the love that you want to others.ย Probably the single, most important part is to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you want love, attention, honesty, respect and honor give it to those who resonate with you and understand that.
    10.ย Feel worthy.ย You are a child of the Universe/God and it is your birth right to feel whole, complete, joyful and happy.ย There may be many layers to remove some of the old illusions and hidden mistruths called beliefs that are not allowing you to see the whole reality of life and yourself.ย If we spend some time every day reflecting and cultivating one or more of these 10 steps, day by day you will be walking a path filled with more unconditional self-love, fulfillment, a greater sense of overall well-being and love towards others. The only way to live that way is to reconnect with your true self.ย I hope my thoughts inspire you to connect with your heart and live a life that is authentic.

    There is no better time to start than NOW.ย

    May YOU bring deep peace, joy and relaxation to your body and your life in this new year.

    Deep Body Relaxation – allowing what is deep inside of you to emerge – the true and authentic you.

    With every New Year most of us have a strong desire to reassess, re-evaluate, start on a positive and a new way to create what we deep inside desire and dream of.

    January is a month when we can start anew, when we can tap into our heartโ€™s desires and dreams and Intentions.

    The big part of our culture operates on a premise that our health and well-being are not our responsibility and if we have a challenge with our body, it means that something is wrong and needs to be fixed. 

    Another big misperception that we live by is that we are completely lost in the external world. We look for all that we need and want from the external environment. We have strong beliefs that someone else can give us what we want.

    If we step back and open to a higher perception, and gain new knowledge, we realize that everything is an opportunity for curiosity and investigation.

    The biggest truth, treasure and mystery of this life is that all that you want, your health and vitality is inside of you.

    Reclaiming our body/mind for deeper healing is a very creative process of internal transformation. If we fully own it we can regain our vitality, health, and live our best life.

    Finding, igniting, and animating the REAL YOU and integrating it with your body/mind is what you want to learn more about.

    This is where the magic is, this is where the healing is, this is where the creative process is.

     Your body and well-being is your own creative process.

    In human experience โ€“ most of us wake up to our true nature via different gateways – either health, financial situations or personal relationships or combinations of all of those above.

    It is NOT your fault that you did not know it. The society and our culture is ALSEEP to those things.

    Let your PAIN be the gateway to your awakening. Let me help you to find the GIFT in it, so you can unpack it and discover your treasure.

    Creating an Intention vs setting up a goal is an important first step as it helps us navigate from where we are coming from.

    Intentions live deeper in your physiology; they live in your DNA, and they are driven by the energy level of your authentic self.

    Goals are usually driven by the mind’s energy and are less powerful if they are not attached to the authentic self.

    Let me give you an example.

    Letโ€™s say you have been dealing with chronic pain for a long time, which hugely impacts your life on many levels. The logical and natural feeling is:

    “I want to get rid of the pain. I do not want to feel it anymore. I am hoping that someone else can do it for me or just fix it”. DISEMPOWERED INTENTION

    This mindset is disempowering and is simply not working.

    What is an empowered Intention in this case as an example?

    “I feel flexible, relaxed and open in my body. I am able to enjoy daily walks with my loved ones”. EMPOWERED INTENTION

    One of the reasons we do not intend for much bigger goals/intentions for our health is that our mind is trying to figure out how that would happen. We usually do not have a belief system in place that senses dreams or desire as a possibility.

    The mind alone is not able to heal you, so right now do not listen to your mind and dream up what would be your desired outcome for your body and well-being.

    Our innate energy goes wherever you focus your attention, so if you focus on what you do not want, guess what? You get more of what you do not want!

    Choose well what you WANT vs what you donโ€™t want.

  • Self Awareness


    Have you ever realized that our whole life from the day we are born is externally focused?

    We are conditioned to pay attention to everything that is going on and happening on the outside of us. We learn early in life in our families, schooling, and training how to be successful in life, how to be liked, accepted, smart and productive. Those ways of functioning in the world are not wrong, they are an incomplete picture of who we are. Those patterns keep us closed off from our true Self and we develop a way of protecting ourselves or proving and performing in the world.

    Since everyone is doing that, we accept that way of operating in the world as a norm and simply think that that is just how life is.

    Many times, we end up being unhappy inside, unfulfilled, unsatisfied, sick and in pain.

    What is truly happening to most of us in life is that we all splat or disperse early in life. Meaning our body, mind, and our breath (Spirit) work as separate parts of us and honestly life does not flow easily and smoothly for us. In this way we operate ONLY as a mental body and react to life, at best responding and living in survivorship, feeling like we are victims in life.

    I used to live that way as I did not know any better or any other way until I DID, and everything started to change for me.

    I learned that Self Awareness is the key to life, to learn and understand all parts of us, and to embrace them fully in love to create more personal freedom. When we do that on a consistent basis, externally we will be able to experience well-being, beauty, personal power, and more personal fulfillment in all life aspects.

    What if I told you that all your emotional unhappiness, uneasiness, lack of well-being, and pain are the byproduct of only one thing?

    If the Energy Flow is NOT moving in your body, the byproduct is that the life experience you are having is not optimal.

    Steps to Self Awareness are becoming radically aware that:

    1.       I exist, and I AM this life experience.

    2.      Nobody is responsible for me, my life experience and all that is happening in my life is happening for my highest good if I shift my perception.

    3.       I am the Awareness itself and I Have a body and mind.

    4.      Body, Mind and Breath are one and I am here to learn how to integrate those three so my life experience can improve, so my health, vitality and sense of joy and internal peace can be enhanced.

    5.       Everything in the Universe is Energy. I am also at the core of my beingโ€™s pure energy, and my work is to bring my awareness to within.

    6.      I am the creator of my own life experience, and I am either creating intentionally and bringing more of what I want to my life, or I create by default and create more of what I do not want in my life.

    7.       My health, vitality and happiness is directly related to my own level of Self Awareness.

    8.      The core of my true self is purely unconditional, greater love and the more I am in touch with that Love the more I create from the place of wholeness.

    If you have been unhappy, tense and dissatisfied with your life and health, it will take some time to create a new State of Being. The key to healing is to live from the space of our heart and soul. Itโ€™s the source of how things flow to us . . . fulfillment, joy, bigger and deeper love, abundance, fulfillment in relationships and friendships, total health, and prosperity.

    When we are internally relaxed and happy and we make better choices for ourselves, the body is more relaxed and can heal itself. The brain releases happy hormones like dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, enhancing internal well-being.

    Healing HAPPENS as a byproduct of the Authentic life, life lived from the INSIDE OUT, is the life thatโ€™s worth living. The quantum Flip or the Awareness of that which is living as an Essential Self vs Personality is the first building block of your healing journey.

  • Introduction to Experiencing a Healthier You


    My deep intention and joy has always been to share and teach you the ways you can discover and ignite your own healing capacity for a greater level of healing, up-leveling yourself, and living your best life.

    The month of May brings to the forefront the magnification of that intent through introducing you to Wholistic Self Care (WSC) – Experience a Healthier You.

    From our work together at the office I know you have been living with chronic pain for years and even for decades. Making progress can be such a relief and yet often we feel frustrated and disappointed when our pain ebbs and flows.

    Science is showing us that how we relate to our pain can be affected by our thoughts, feelings, attitude, beliefs and also by our subconscious mind. This is what I am so excited to be teaching; that we can create new thoughts, emotions and energy that amplify our own healing.

    My intention is to teach you how to use new tools and techniques to connect, unlock and unleash the amazing healing stream of energy that naturally flows through our physical body. You may experience healing on many different levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

    WSC is an effort that represents an expanded vision of Wholistic Therapeutics growth based on my deep desire to teach each of you valuable tools and practices derived from my experience and the Science of Energy Medicine.

  • Open Focus


    I remember taking some very early Myofascial Release classes when we were instructed to approach every person with an open focus. I have to admit that I had no idea what it meant, but when I learned more about it โ€“ it changed everything.

    What if I told you that the key to healing and to having a more successful, calm and happy life is based on how we pay attention?

    What??? What do you mean??

    What if I told you that there are different ways to pay attention, and to use our attention, based on what we want to accomplish or heal. You see โ€“ two different goals.

    Most of us are brought up to pay attention in a very narrow fashion, when we need to learn something, or when the situation asks us for a very intense and laser type of focus. Since many of us get rewarded for that way of paying attention, we wrongly assume it is the only mode of operation.

    This mode of operation is meant only for short periods of time when we need to focus intensely to accomplish something or when there is an emergency, and we need to densely gather energy to act to survive the ordeal or to save someone else.

    Living in a society filled with high anxiety and fear-based information and perception of the world, habitually teaches our nervous system to be in a constant fight and flight or freeze mode.

    Most of us live in a highly compromised sympathetic mode where stress hormones flood our system, blood pressure is increased, blood vessels become constricted exceeding the capacity of the muscles to relax. That leads to chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction.

    If we continue living in this manner we are headed to disease, disorder in the body, chronic pain, anxiety, problems in relationships, being unhappy and unfulfilled, and we never really access our true genius.

    Have we given any thought to the fact that we all possess healing and renewing capacities inside of ourselves and can live a much more rewarding life?

    The narrow focus or trying or performing mode will never access those juicy abilities.

    Living in this way we may never may know what is really possible for us.

    When we learn how to pay attention in a more open, relaxed and fluid way, our nervous system starts to relax and switches to a more parasympathetic mode, which enhances healing, the blood vessel and muscles are relaxed, happy hormones are flooding our system, and we can start healing and living in a more fulfilling, calm and happy way.

    Nothing from the outside needs to change.

    All we need to change and learn is how to open our focus, and to pay attention, as our attention determines how our nervous system, which operates our body, works for us, or against us.

    The key to any new habit or changing the programing is repetition! Self-Discipline and repetition are the two keys that will put you on a new path to healing.
