    Most of us probably heard it before that everything we truly want and look for is already inside of us. That includes your health and well-being. Yes . . . your health and your well-being.

    Nice and sweet concept but what does it really mean and how do I connect or attune with it? We often hear that we are giving our energy and power away. As interesting as it sounds to many of us, it may appear as an enigmatic statement and what does it all really mean?

  • WHAT IS YOUR HEAVEN?


    Doesn’t the word heaven just bring a smile to your face? It does to mine. There is a sense of peace, bliss, ease, comfort, total love, gentleness joy, and lack of any effort. Growing up in a Catholic religion, I heard the word Heaven many times. I was always drawn to that word.

    Based on that teaching, Heaven was always associated with a place out there and not now, like a far far-away land t o go to when you die, and have done things in a right way. This sounds a bit judgmental and conditional to me. But what if heaven is here and now?

    Many people do not know about myofascial release physical therapy (MFR) and how it can help them. Oftentimes they have tried traditional physical therapy and other approaches to dealing with their pain and have simply lost hope.   • USEFUL TOOLS FOR SELF-TREATMENT


    So many of us experience our symptoms and go for the quick fix, the magic pill or other symptom relief that masks the underlying cause. In the past decade, the average age for first heart attacks has dropped from age 64 to age 60, at least partially due to our reliance on drugs instead of the hard work of exercise and the discipline of diet. Unfortunately, this approach can sometimes extend itself to the expectations of curative results from my practice, without my clients additional commitment to work on their issues on their own time.

  • THE POWER OF THE BREATH


    With deep and slow diaphragmatic breathing we choose to re-engage with ourselves.

    We are learning, and teaching the brain and the body how to be a unit again, and we stimulate the VAGUS nerve which produces neuro-physiological reactions for relaxation and healing.

    Diaphragmatic breathing reduces our anxiety, fear, racing thoughts, rapid heart rate, and relaxes the tension in the body, thus decreasing pain and inflammation. Be aware and present while deeply breathing in and out.

  • THE DANCE OF JOY


    Last month I wrote about 7 STEPS to Unconditional Self-Love for a Better and Healthier Quality of Life . I received a lot of positive feedback on the topic of self-love and felt it merited additional discussion. My journey into healing, introspection and self-love started when I was in my early twenties, at a time when the whole concept of how our mind and body are connected started to fascinate me, and became my whole new paradigm of thinking, feeling and being.
