Visceral Mobilization

Visceral mobilization therapy is an approach that focuses on assessing and mobilizing the fascial layer of the visceral (internal organs) system with respect to the somatic (body) frame. It is a gentle manual therapy technique that assesses the relationship between the body’s organs (liver, gallbladder, stomach, duodenum, the intestines) and other structures, like muscles, fascia, ligaments and joints.

Visceral Mobilization Therapy

Injuries, trauma, surgeries, scar tissue, inflammation etc. create hardening and shortening of the fascia which in this case produces imbalances in the alignment and internal movement of particular organs and in relation to other organs.
